SECRETARIAT

MRUNMAYI KAMERKAR
Secretary General
Hi delegates, my name is Mrunmayi, and I am honored to be your Secretary-General for INYP this year. Over the years, MUN has taught me how valuable perspective is, so I'm incredibly excited to see the thoughts and ideas each of you bring to the conference. When you enter your respective committees, expect challenges, but don't be afraid to face them and make them your own. Along the way you'll find that you're not only picking up technical skills in research, negotiation, and policymaking, but growing as a person. So if there's one thing I hope to see all of you do it's push the boundaries and go beyond what you thought you were capable of.

LOK SABHA

NEHA SRINIVAS
Speaker of Lok Sabha
Hey everyone! My name is Neha and I’m honored to be serving as your Director General and Director of the Lok Sabha at INYP 2022. I'm extremely passionate about economics and political science, and I believe that everybody has a unique perspective that can help tackle some of the world’s most complex problems. Personally, I believe that participating in Youth Parliament and MUN is a great way to develop one’s confidence and interpersonal skills. As someone who actively tries to make a difference in social spheres, I see great potential in any individual, to have meaningful impact on the world around them. And so, I can't wait to hear your voices in committee as you engage in dialogue! Outside of MUN, you can find me playing sports, listening to music, or binging Netflix! I look forward to meeting you all!

AMEYA MUNDKUR
Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha
Hi delegates! I’m Ameya Mundkur. Music is one of my biggest passions, I love animals. I also enjoy talking to people. I can have the most random conversations ranging from 60’s rock bands and Harry Styles to issues around the world to how Phil from Modern Family is the wisest character. I never really enjoyed debates, but as soon as I started MUNing, my opinion on that completely changed. I’ve been MUNing for 2 years now, it’s been one of the most life changing, educational and incredibly fun experiences I’ve had. I’m super excited to see unique, divergent views lined with interesting debates to get the most inclusive, holistic and productive outcome in committee.
HARI HARISH
Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha
My name is Hari, and I am an 11th grader at Inventure. My hobbies range from sports to public speaking to coding and I do my work very passionately. In pre-covid times I was an active MUNer and I’m looking forward to getting back into MUN. I have attended 4 MUNs physically, across various committees and have won Best Delegate in two of them, and Honourable Mentions in the others. I have never been part of the Executive Board before, and being an Assistant Director will give me the opportunity I have always craved for. It will be a new experience and I am greatly looking forward to make the most of it. I hope to help with hosting an eventful, disciplined, successful committee and for it to arrive at a favorable end resolution which we can proudly present later on.
RAJYA SABHA

GAUTUM CHARI
Chairperson of Rajya Sabha
Hi delegates, I am Gautam and I'm a student from grade 11 AS. It is my distinct honour to serve as the director of the Rajya Sabha this year. Through the years MUN has given me the opportunity to develop a unique set of skills, including public speaking, debating and most importantly the courage to think on my feet and be confident in what I say. As such, I hope to create an atmosphere that enhances your development and safeguards the legacy left behind by my very competent seniors. Can't wait to see you all in committee and may the force be with you!

ABHIMANYU BALAGOPAL
Deputy Chairperson of Rajya Sabha
Hi, I'm Abhimanyu Balagopal from grade 11 and I will be your assistant director for the Rajya Sabha. I have been participating in MUNs for the past 4 years, this is my 7th MUN and first time as a part of the EB. I have had the opportunity to participate in conferences in the Middle East and at the United Nations in New York. I look forward to seeing a lot of enlightening conversations and productive discourse during committee and of course some fun outside of committee. I truly believe that this year's Youth Parliament format will open every delegate's eyes to the problems we face as a country and as a world, and how they can be solved democratically.
CIVIL SOCIETY

VIVIN ANAND
Co-Director of Civil Society
Hey delegates! I’m Vivin Anand, co-director for INYP’s Civil Society. While I have MUNned for years, participating in many conferences across India, Youth Parliament - as it is for many of you - is completely new for me, as well! I am looking forward to seeing how every delegate uniquely attempts to solve the the challenges facing Indian education. Outside of MUN, I am a huge sports fan, especially Cricket and MMA. I am also a massive metalhead. See you in committee!

ASHUTOSH BARMAN
Assistant Director of Civil Society
I’ve always enjoyed a good debate, and am known to everyone close to me as the guy who argues too much. But it does come from a place of love. I’m passionate about sports, music, and anything to do with physics, and have been cursed by being a ferrari fan. I love movies and games and really any sort of entertainment. I also like to think of myself as a hard worker. While I believe I have a good sense of humour, I have been told otherwise, so if I make a bad joke - just laugh for the sake of my sanity. In committee I look forward to having new ideas brought up and discussed, both with decorum and constructive intent. Cooperation forms the basis of Youth Parliament, and I truly believe that through delegates working together, our committee will create fruitful outcomes.

AASHNA KUMAR
Co-Director of Civil Society
My name Is Aashna Kumar and it is my absolute honour to be your Director for INYP’s Civil Society this year. MUNning has been a central part of my high school life. I hope to see you guys in October, and I’m so excited to hear your views and ideas!

LASYA VARMA
Assistant Director of Civil Society
Hello delegates! I am Lasya M Varma from grade 9. As a freshman, I haven’t had many MUN experiences. As a student of theatre and an inquisitive individual, I found Model United Nations to be a window into the wider political world and a great way to hone my speaking skills. Throughout middle school, I had a keen interest in MUN and signed up for MUN clubs led by my seniors, that came my way, which drove me a lot closer to the group of avid MUNners at my school. I am absolutely thrilled to be part of Inventure Youth Parliament this year, although I never imagined myself being on the opposite side of the table. I hope this excitement extends to delegates and I’m looking forward to fierce

Along the way, I’ve picked up a myriad of skills, which have helped me in my other hobbies such as sprinting and music. UN LEGAL

SANNAH MUDBIDRI
Director of UN Legal
My name is Sannah Mudbidri. I graduated from Inventure in 2021 and am currently pursuing law at NLSIU Bangalore. I was an avid MUNner throughout school and have served as a delegate, director and Secretary General for various conferences spanning Bangalore to Beijing to Bangladesh. I have always been one for the bigger picture and value perspectives focused on what is beneficial for humanity as a whole rather than for one particular country or stakeholder. My experience in MUN and the legal sphere have shown me that both facts and diplomacy are necessary to sway an audience and I look forward to seeing the same in committee. I can't wait to get to know all of you and work together to use our voices to bring about meaningful change.

JOHANN ULLATIL
Assistant Director of UN Legal
I fell in love with MUNing three years ago after my first MUN and I haven't stopped since. I love a fast-paced committee and hope that my delegates can give me one ;). Other than MUN I love other forms of debate and even have been looking to get into mooting for a while now. I'm studying to hopefully be a law student someday because I fell in love with the field. I hope to have an amazing time with you all at this committee and hope you all have a great time as delegates as I have in the past INMUN's.

INTERNATIONAL PRESS CORPS

DIYA KAKKAR
Director of International Press Corps
Hi! I’m Diya Kakkar from grade 12. Over the past 4 years, I have fallen in love with MUN: the research, the sudden burst of energy when an unmod begins, the need to pass resolutions, and most importantly the skill of persuasion. I have participated in several MUN’s across the world and have seen first-hand how MUN provides a platform to hone skills that are critical for everyone’s future development. Besides debating, I love reading books ranging from the paranormal dystopia to murder mysteries, baking, piano, and listening to music ranging from rock to pop.

ARUSHI PAUL
Assistant Director of International Press Corps
"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace." -Jimi Hendrix
I entered the circuit four years ago, eager to deepen my understanding on global issues. I have henceforth participated with enthusiasm in several conferences, and was a member of the Executive Board for GMUN for the past two years. I firmly believe that a dialogue is better for resolving conflict over direct confrontation of any form. I am also a strong defender of human rights and the environment. Other than this I enjoy spending time on my musical pursuits, dance, and expressing myself through writing. Bringing you a deceptively serene and calm individual: Arushi Paul Assistant Director of the IPC.
