‘Working towards the universalisation of quality post-pandemic education’
The Lok Sabha, popularly known as the House of the People, is known for its heated discussions, intensive debates, and discourse on topics central to Indian politics. At INYP 2022, the Lok Sabha will be tasked with discussing the universalization of quality post-pandemic education. To work towards this agenda, delegates will need to assess existing policy measures, as well as work collaboratively to develop comprehensive and innovative solutions.
‘Setting the budget for education to enable recovery and accelerating implementation of initiatives’
The Rajya Sabha this year is going to push the delegates to think fast on their feet and be innovative with their solutions. This specialised committee is going to induce high octane, intense debate with the greatly differing opinions your personas will have. We have to decide the budget for every initiative other committees put forward and so the committee will be very reactionary in nature. Delegates will experience the immense pressure MPs go through on a daily basis, in a very concentrated period of time. Prepare to be pulling your hair out, flipping tables and writing notes furiously.

Examining the scope for improvements to technical infrastructure and teacher upskilling in schools
Do not let the name deceive you - ‘civil’ society is an incredibly fast paced and dynamic committee. Given the sheer number of stakeholders in committee, the clash of factions is like no other. With news constantly breaking out regarding deep-rooted corruption and malpractice within the supposed purveyors of truth and knowledge - our educational institutes - who can truly say that our country is headed on the right path? And with governmental organisations, opposition factions, large unions and institutions, all with their own vested interests conflict is inevitable. There will be chaos, there will be commotion - in the midst of it all delegates must reach compromise, work towards collaboration and ultimately, find a solution to one of India’s largest crises yet.
'Resolving disruptions to education during the pandemic’
The All India Political Parties Meet(AIPPM) is a realistic simulation of all the major leaders of India during a time of crisis. It’s the year 2020 and a pandemic has struck the world. With nowhere to hide and nothing to do but hope. The government has gathered for a special session to discuss the future of the country - specifically in terms of education. In this semi-crisis committee, the delegates will be taken on a journey through the pandemic where they will work to solve real life crises and tackle the challenges faced in education during the pandemic.
